For two days, between December 9-10, nine trainers from the National Institute of Justice have participated in an international online training course in order to become certified tutors of the European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) of the Council of Europe. The event brought together legal specialists selected by the NIJ and other national partners in the HELP network, as well as professionals from other Council of Europe member states.
The evaluation team of the scientific journals from Index Copernicus International announces that the Journal of the National Institute of Justice (ISSN: 1857-2405) has successfully passed the multidimensional evaluation process and is indexed in the ICI Journals Master List 2019.
In the context of the international campaign "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence", the National Institute of Justice organized on Monday, December 7, 2020, a public lesson for future judges and prosecutors. The lecture, held online, was given by Arina Turcan, lawyer of the Women's Law Center (CDF), NIJ trainer, and aimed to raise awareness among participants on the issue of violence against women.
The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, has participated in the international conference "70 years of the ECHR, 25 years since the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Council of Europe - implementation of CoE standards at the national level". The event took place online on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020.
