The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, has participated in the international conference "70 years of the ECHR, 25 years since the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Council of Europe - implementation of CoE standards at the national level". The event took place online on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020.
In her speech, Diana Scobioala referred to the judicial training of the beneficiaries of the National Institute of Justice in the field of human rights on four essential dimensions: initial training, continuous training, training of trainers and e-learning on the HELP platform of the CoE and on the ILIAS platform of the NIJ, the last being used intensely this year in the context of the pandemic. In particular, she spoke about the realized actions, highlighting the activities implemented with the support of the Council of Europe in several projects and their impact on the professional development of the specialists from the justice sector.
The international conference was organized by the People's Advocate Office jointly with the Council of Europe Office in the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the signing of the European Convention on Human Rights and of the 25th anniversary of our country's accession to the Council of Europe.
