The need to organize training activities in the field of trafficking in human beings (THB) for actors from justice sector was the purpose of the meeting between Ecaterina Popa, ad interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Marina Leu, ad interim head of the Continuous training section, Diana Doroș, head of Department for human rights and social dialogue, State Chancellery, and Natalia Nicula, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The meeting took place on Wednesday, 18 May 2022, at the National Institute of Justice.

The trainees of the National Institute of Justice represented the Republic of Moldova at the prestigious European competition THEMIS of the European Judicial Training Network. This year's edition, entitled "European Union and Criminal Procedure Law", took place in Naples, Italy, from 3 to 6 May 2022.
