A group of Kyrgyz lawyers responsible for the legal aid service visited the National Institute of Justice on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, to meet with the ad interim director, Ecaterina Popa. The delegation included Deputy Minister of Justice Orozbek Sadykov, President of the Legal Aid Council, Akjol Kalbekov, lawyers and Para jurists from Kyrgyzstan, accompanied by Alexandru Tanase, key expert of the Program on the Rule of Law in the Kyrgyz Republic - phase two, implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation, Former President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova.

Representatives of the National Institute of Justice – Tatiana Ciaclig, Head of the Legal Information Center, such as trainees: Tatiana Bruma, future judge and Catalin Lisii, future prosecutor, participated in a language training ,,New Challenges for Justice in the Context of War: The compensation for victims of war”– criminal and civil aspect, organized by the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, during November 17-18 in Krakow.

During November 17-18, 2022 in Strasbourg, France, two events took place – the Steering Committee of the regional project “Women’s Access to Justice: delivering on the Istanbul Convention and other European gender equality standards in the Eastern Partnership countries” and launch of a report on the “Impact of COVID-19 on women’s access to justice”.
