The director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, and the federal judges from the United States of America - Dan Aaron Polster and Eduardo Robreno, have met today, May 14 2018, with the representatives of the Superior Council of Magistracy - Victor Micu, SCM President, and SCM members Petru Moraru, Nina Cernat, Dorel Musteata, Anatolie Galben.
On Thursday, May 3 2018, the trainees of the National Institute of Justice, candidates to the position of judge, have visited the laboratories of the Forensic and Judicial Expertise Centre of the General Police Inspectorate within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The third edition of the Competition on adversary procedure, organized by the Leavitt Institute for International Development of the United States of America for the trainees of the National Institute of Justice is successfully completed.
The National Institute of Justice’s trainees were familiarized with the activity of the General Prosecutor’s Office, but also with the activity of the Superior Council of Prosecutors in the frame of an information visit to these institutions, organized for the candidates to the position of judge and prosecutor.
Cooperation aspects with the National Institute of Justice in the frame of the Council of Europe supported projects were discussed on Wednesday, April 25, at the meeting of the head of the Training and research division, Alexandra Nica, with the Council of Europe representative - Tigran Karapetyan, Head of Unit, Eastern Partnership, Human Rights National Implementation Division, Milica Djunic, project coordinator acting within the same department, and Diana Cealic, Senior Project Officer, Council of Europe Office in Chisinau.
