The summing up of the results of the Council of Europe project “Improving women’s access to justice in five Eastern Partnership countries” was one of the main topics addressed at the regional conference “Access to justice for women victims of violence”. The event took place on 18 – 19 October 2018 in Strasbourg.
On Monday, October 15, 2018, Diana Scobioala, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, and Valentina Contescu, the Advisor of the Director, had a meeting with the United States Department of State officials.
The official launch of a new initial training course took place on 15 October 2018 at the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The new trainees will study for 18 months, after which they will have the right to candidate for the position of judge or prosecutor.
