At the National Institute of Justice were awarded the winners of the 4th edition of the National Contest of Young Lawyers, which took place between March 2, and 22, 2019. The Final of the competition, where the best students of the law faculties in the country have demonstrated their legal knowledge, oratory skills and the technique of argumentation took place on Friday, March 22, 2019.
The National Institute of Justice has successfully implemented the integrated quality management system obtaining three certificates in accordance with the requirements of the international standards SM SR EN ISO 9001: 2016 / ISO 9001: 2015; SM ISO 29990: 2016; ISO 21001: 2018.
The reforms of the training process of the NIJ beneficiaries, as well as the development of institutional capacities during the last years within the UNDP project "Strengthening technical capacities of the national institutions for the human rights protection and promotion" were included on the agenda of the meeting of the NIJ Director, Diana Scobioala, with the representative of the main donor, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Theresia Kirkemann Boesen.
Discussions on the actions undertaken within the UNDP project "Strengthening technical capacities of the national institutions for the human rights protection and promotion", funded by the Government of Denmark, were the purpose of the Project Board's final meeting. The event took place on Friday, March 15, 2019, at the National Institute of Justice, and provided the opportunity to evaluate the project's results and its benefits for the institutions involved.
