The official launch of a new initial training course took place on 15 October 2018 at the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The new trainees will study for 18 months, after which they will have the right to candidate for the position of judge or prosecutor.

On Tuesday, October 9, the Regional conference on the Graz Recommendations on Access to Justice and National Minorities opened its sessions. The event took place on October 9 – 10, 2018, in Chisinau, and aimed to explore the current situation of national minorities in the Republic of Moldova from the perspective of their access to justice. The conference also served as a framework for the launch in our country of the Graz Recommendations on Access to Justice and National Minorities.

On October 9, 2018 the distance learning course of the European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals of the Council of Europe, “Aspects of Combating Discrimination” was launched. The first to benefit from the updated version of the course are the representatives of the Moldovan law system.
