The National Institute of Justice has successfully implemented the integrated quality management system obtaining three certificates in accordance with the requirements of the international standards SM SR EN ISO 9001: 2016 / ISO 9001: 2015; SM ISO 29990: 2016; ISO 21001: 2018.

The reforms of the training process of the NIJ beneficiaries, as well as the development of institutional capacities during the last years within the UNDP project "Strengthening technical capacities of the national institutions for the human rights protection and promotion" were included on the agenda of the meeting of the NIJ Director, Diana Scobioala, with the representative of the main donor, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Theresia Kirkemann Boesen.

Discussions on the actions undertaken within the UNDP project "Strengthening technical capacities of the national institutions for the human rights protection and promotion", funded by the Government of Denmark, were the purpose of the Project Board's final meeting. The event took place on Friday, March 15, 2019, at the National Institute of Justice, and provided the opportunity to evaluate the project's results and its benefits for the institutions involved.

Between 14 and 15 March 2019, the NIJ trainees, candidates to the position of judge and prosecutor, are attending the Spring School entitled "Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms guaranteed by the European Convention on Human Rights - remedies/premises for strengthening the legal reasoning process of the national judgments". The human rights training activity is at its second edition, carried out according to the National Institute of Justice's Initial Training Plan for candidates to the position of judge and prosecutor.

The 2nd Stage of the National Contest of Young Lawyers is held at the headquarters of the National Institute of Justice. The competition, organized in partnership with the Legal Consulting Company „Brodsky Uskov Looper Reed & Partners”, the National Institute of Justice, ELSA Republic of Moldova and The American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova, is at the 4th edition and brings together students from law schools in the Republic of Moldova, of the license cycle, the master cycle including graduates of 2018.
