Today, October 15, 2024, was held an online training for the internship conductors of the National Institute of Justice's trainees. The event was attended by the prosecuting officers who will coordinate the internship as well as future judges and prosecutors.
During the session, the NIJ trainers Ghennadi Epure, member of the NIJ Council, prosecutor, and Ion Chirtoaca, judge, emphasized the importance of the process aimed at developing the necessary skills for the profession, being an essential element in the initial training of candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor. The internship tutors were familiarized with their responsibilities, objectives and the way the internship is conducted.
In the upcoming period, it is planned to organize similar trainings for supervisors of trainees from courts and prosecutor's offices.
According to the Initial training Plan, the internship will be conducted in the third semester of the initial training course for 25 weeks in courts, prosecutor's offices and prosecution bodies. From October 15, 2024 to April 13, 2025, the trainees will develop their professional skills and gain experience in order to effectively perform their chosen profession after graduation.
