Judges of the Supreme Court of Justice, courts of appeal and courts of first instance participated in the continuous training sessions dedicated to the implementation of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Moldova, on November 25-27, 2024.
At the beginning of the event, the Head of the training and research Department of the National Institute of Justice, Ecaterina Popa, and the Deputy Project Coordinator for the Republic of Moldova and Georgia of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation, Anja Finke, welcomed the participants.
The seminar, delivered by Klaus Hage, judge and president of the panel at the Administrative Court of Minden, aimed to strengthen the knowledge of magistrates on the fundamental principles of the Administrative Code, especially in the field of transparency, fairness and efficiency in administrative procedure, as well as to familiarize them with the Guide for continuous training on the application of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Moldova.
During the training activity were addressed the practical challenges and solutions for the implementation of the Administrative Code, the need for a unitary jurisprudence to ensure the consistency of judicial decisions, methods of streamlining administrative procedures to reduce delays in the decision-making process, improving citizens' access to a fair and transparent administrative litigation jurisdiction, etc.
We mention that, during December 10-12 this year, judges specialized in examining administrative litigation cases who participated in a study visit to Germany this autumn, will attend a follow-up session on the implementation of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Moldova.
The seminar was organized by the National Institute of Justice and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation.
