Although "face-to-face" training activities have been temporarily suspended, the National Institute of Justice comes with an alternative in order to harness the potential of e-learning. The online training is a modern method of professional development providing effective and useful training to the specialists in the justice system.
In this regard, the National Institute of Justice offers its beneficiaries five electronic courses delivered on the ILIAS distance learning platform of the NIJ and two electronic courses delivered on the HELP platform of the Council of Europe. All the seven courses are included in the Plan of continuous training for 2020 of the NIJ within the module "Distance learning". Thus, between 16 and 20 of March 2020, registrations for the following courses are opened:
- Criminal prosecution and the European Convention on Human Rights;
- International legal cooperation in criminal matters;
- Introduction to Article 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights: the right to liberty and security;
- Electronic course in the field of antidiscrimination;
- Prohibition of ill-treatments in the context of law enforcement, security and other coercive contexts;
- Justice in the interests of the child;
