On Thursday, November 21, 2019, the candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor of the National Institute of Justice attended the public lesson offered by the delegation of the High School of Justice of Georgia (HSJ).
Vano Bolkvadze, Director, and Aniko Parjiani, the Head of Analytical and International Relations Unit, spoke about the Georgian judicial system, as well as how the institution that prepares future judges, judges in office and the staff of the courts operates. In this respect, the three dimensions of the training provided by the Georgian magistracy school were presented: initial training, continuous training, and training of trainers. At the same time, the HSJ representatives referred to all the stages of the initial training of candidates to the position of judge: the admission procedure, the theoretical course, the internship, the seminar stage, the examination and the final evaluation.
The public lesson was held during the visit to the National Institute of Justice of the exponents of the High School of Justice of Georgia in order to develop partnership relations on the segment of training professionals from the law system of both states and to facilitate the exchange of good practices in the field.
