On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, Diana Scobioala, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, and Sergey Arakelyan, the Rector of the Academy of Justice of Armenia, visited the Superior Council of Prosecutors. The meeting was attended by Angela Motuzoc, President of the SCP, and the members - Inga Furtuna, seconded prosecutor, Adrian Bordianu, seconded prosecutor, Constantin Tusu, seconded prosecutor, and Andrei Rosca, seconded prosecutor.
The meeting highlighted the prospects for mutual exchange of good practices between the two countries, including the professional training of actors in the justice sector. In this context, it was mentioned the modernization of the training programs within the National Institute of Justice in order to increase the quality of the process of professional development of prosecutors. In particular, the benefits of integrating, in the initial training course, of the simulations activities for candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor were discussed.
Between December 16 and 20, 2019, in Chisinau, in order to become acquainted with and take over the NIJ training model oriented on the direct involvement of the trainees in simulations of judicial trials, Sergey Arakelyan, the Rector of Academy of Justice of Armenia, pays a study visit.
