On Friday, November 16, 2018, at the National Institute of Justice, US Federal Prosecutor Bryan Taylor held a public lecture for candidates for the position of judge and prosecutor.
At the activity, the National Institute of Justice trainees have become familiar with the federal criminal justice system in the United States and, in particular, with the concept of community interaction between Prosecutor's Office bodies and communities that include representatives of various vulnerable groups in society.
Also, Bryan Taylor presented the significance of the concept of "community-oriented prosecution", the purpose, the benefits and the principles of application in order to prevent the criminal phenomenon. At the same time, the US Federal Prosecutor talked about the need for Prosecutor's Office bodies to be proactive and about his experience in putting this concept into practice.
The public lecture was organized in partnership by the National Institute of Justice and ABA ROLI Moldova.
