On 22 and 23 March 2022, a group of judges and prosecutors participated in the two days spring thematic school entitled "Methods and tactics for investigating and assessing cases of sexual harassment committed through information technology. Aspects related to the online abuse of minors". The action is part of the "Information Security Strategy of the Republic of Moldova for 2019-2024".
In the welcoming speech, Ecaterina Popa, ad Interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Anatolie Popa, Program Manager in the Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Section at the US Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, and Elena Botezatu, Executive Director of La Strada International Center, have stated the importance of the event, which aims to familiarize NIJ beneficiaries with the criminal phenomenon of child abuse and sexual exploitation in online environment, as well as to increase the knowledge of the specifics of prosecution and judgment of criminal offenses in this category.

The thematic school is organized by the National Institute of Justice and the International Center "La Strada" being part of the project "Strengthening Moldova’s Capacity to Address Child Online Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (COSESA)", funded by the US Embassy in Moldova.
