On Friday, May 18, 2018, the candidates to the position of judge and prosecutor have participated to a session of discussions moderated by the American federal judges Dan Aaron Polster, judge, Northern District of Ohio, and Eduardo Robreno, senior judge, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The event was opened with the speeches of Alexandra Nica, the Head of the Training and research division of the NIJ and Shibani Malhotra, Senior Advisor within the USA State Department.
During the meeting, the future judges and prosecutors were interested in the professional activity of the federal judges, but also in the role and the hierarchy of the judicial courts, in the examination procedure of civil and criminal cases, in the mandate and the competencies of the jury etc.
