The event took place on September 22-26, 2019, in Cape Town, South Africa. The conference brought together exponents of judiciary schools around the world to discuss the recent developments in the field of judicial training. In this regard, educational sessions were organized providing opportunities for all participants to exchange ideas and address common issues. Thus, the emphasis were placed on innovative teaching and learning methods, judicial education in a social context, maintaining relevance in a constantly changing learning environment, the impact of technology on judicial procedures and the development of judicial capacity, judicial training and human rights, etc.
We remind that the National Institute of Justice is a member of the International Organization for Judicial Training, an organization that promotes the rule of law, facilitates the international exchange of information between the judiciary schools, given the challenges that arise in the training and education processes of the magistrates.
