“Today is an occasion of joy and emotion for us, because we are evaluating the results of the initial training activities for future judges and prosecutors that studied during 2016-2018. It is an emotional moment also because we are launching the 10th class of graduates of the NIJ - an anniversary class, that was subject of our attempts to change the initial training approach. You are the first to pass through a new admission procedure at the NIJ, particularly - the electronic specialty test. This alowed us to select you transparently, without any suspicion of fraud, the best of the best. For the same reason, the Admission Comission of the year 2016, when you participated to the admission exams, included a representative of foreign authorities. Our goal was to ensure a practical training in order to develop the skills and competencies that will be necessary in your professional activity. We hope that all you have learned and applied, all the extra-curricular activities in which you were involved, will ensure you a bright future”, has mentioned in her discourse Diana Scobioala, the NIJ Director.
On behalf of the graduates, Dan Popusoi, candidate to the position of judge, and Irina Catan, candidate to the position of prosecutor, expressed the gratitude for the work that has been done by the NIJ trainers and staff in order to ensure their professional development. Also, they have shared some of the emotions they had lived during the 18 months of studies.
The event culminated with the certification of the future judges and prosecutors, the best trainees were awarded with diplomas of merit.
