Today, September 21, 2021, the National Institute of Justice opened its doors to students of the Faculty of General Economics and Law of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Moldova, members of ELSA (European Law Students Association). 17 young people were accompanied by Veaceslav Zaporojan, dean of the faculty, doctor, associate professor.
As host, Diana Scobioala, NIJ Director, spoke about the history of the building and about the training modalities within the Institute, emphasizing on the initial training process of the candidates for judge and prosecutor positions.
The students watched informative video materials and interacted with the trainers and former NIJ trainees, who told them about how is to study at the only judicial training center in the country and about the simulation activities carried out during the studies. Visitors were interested in the admission procedure, the conditions and stages of the admission contest, the criteria for publication in the Journal of the National Institute of Justice, etc.
Also, the young lawyers took a guided tour of the institution, through the study rooms, the computer room and the simulation court room.
