The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, recently attended the 5th anniversary of the Academy of Justice of Armenia - an institution that trains future judges, prosecutors and investigators delivers continuous training to legal professionals.
The event brought together representatives of the judicial training institutions from Belarus, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. In addition to presenting the institutional management, achievements and challenges in the process of training beneficiaries of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, the meeting aimed at identifying new directions of academic cooperation and facilitating the exchange of good practices between judicial training institutions.
In the congratulatory speech, Diana Scobioala mentioned the successful development of collaborative relations between the National Institute of Justice and the Academy of Justice of Armenia, based on common visions and objectives, as well as on the mutual intent of combining efforts to achieve them. Also, the NIJ Director expressed her certitude that joint activities bring added value to the training of professionals in the justice sector in different countries, reiterating the intention to continue and strengthen the partnership established between the judicial training institutions of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Armenia.
