The NIJ Council approved the 2021 Admission Commission

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, the Council of the National Institute of Justice approved the Commission for the admission to the initial training of the candidates to the positions of judges and prosecutors, in the following composition:

  • Anatolie Minciuna, Judge at the Chisinau Court of Appeal, and Aliona Miron, Judge, interim vice-president at the Chisinau Court, Centru headquarters, at the proposal of the Superior Council of Magistracy;
  • Sergiu Bursacovschi, Prosecutor at the Representation in non-criminal proceedings and ECHR implementation unit of the Judicial Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, and Maia Bordea, Prosecutor at the Environmental fraud and public interest crimes investigation unit, Department for Policies, Reforms and Protection of Society's Interests, at the proposal of the Superior Council of Prosecutors;
  • Adriana Esanu, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor at the State University of Moldova, Igor Seremet, doctor of law, lecturer at the State University of Moldova and Iurie Margineanu, doctor of law, associate professor at the Free International University of Moldova, at the proposal of the Director of the National Institute of Justice.

The president of the Admission Commission at this session will be Sergiu Bursacovschi.

We mention that at the 2021 admission contest, 15 places were offered for candidates to the positions of judge and 20 places for candidates to the positions of prosecutor. The submission of files took place online, with 134 applications registered. The conditions for participation in the competition were met by 127 competitors: 87 - candidates to the positions of prosecutor and 40 – candidates to the position of judge. Starting with September 2, 2021, they will take the eliminatory psychological test, the specialty test (grid test) and the oral test.
