The Director of the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, Diana Scobioala, and the Director of the National Institute of Justice of Bulgaria, Miglena Tacheva, signed a Cooperation Agreement on Friday, June 28, 2019, assuming collaboration responsibilities between the institutions that they lead.
The parties have shown their willingness to establish a sustainable cooperative framework in order to make the judicial training process and the exchange of best practices more efficient.
During the event, it was mentioned that such agreements would favor the development of a dynamic multilateral training process for the actors of the justice system that would meet the needs identified in both countries.
Under the agreement, the parties intend to initiate exchanges of experience through study visits; to organize joint meetings, conferences, workshops and seminars, in which will be discussed issues of common interest; to exchange documents, results of scientific researches, brochures and specialized publications, analytical and conceptual materials, other documents and normative acts, etc.
The signing of the Cooperation Agreement took place during the visit of the Director of the National Institute of Justice in Bucharest, Romania, to participate in the works of the XXIIth General Assembly of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) of the magistracy institutions of the Member States of the European Union.
