National Institute of Justice has a new director

At the meeting of the NIJ Board held today, February 14, 2025, the interview for filling the vacant INJ Director position was conducted. Ramona Victoria Strugariu and Natalia Balaban were admitted at this stage, but the latter withdrew from the competition.

After deliberation, by a majority vote, it was decided that Mrs. Ramona Victoria Strugariu would be appointed as Director of the National Institute of Justice.

The competition for the position of Director was held in accordance with the Law no. 152-XVI of 08.06.2006 on the National Institute of Justice and the Regulation on the organization and conduct of the competition for the Director position of the National Institute of Justice.
