Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, has met today, July 12, 2018, with the President of the National Integrity Authority, Rodica Antoci. The discussions focused mainly on the identification of collaborative points of strengthening efforts to train professionals working in the justice sector.
In this context, the Director of the National Institute of Justice spoke about the functioning of the institution she is leading and about the training processes on the two main segments: initial training of the audience and continuous training of the acting judges and prosecutors, as well as of other specialists. In particular, it has been agreed to conduct training sessions addressed to judges and prosecutors for the purpose of correctly applying the new legislation on professional integrity and corruption prevention.
It is expected that such collaboration will be further developed during the next year, specifying in advance the criteria and conditions that are required.
The meeting was also attended by Alexandra Nica, head of the NIJ Training and research division, and Viorel Sochirca, head of the ANI Policies for Assessment, Prevention and Implementation.
