Starting today, October 18, 2021, the 35 trainees who successfully passed the entrance exams will study for 18 months at the National Institute of Justice.
The launch event of the new initial training course was moderated by the Diana Scobioala, NIJ Director, who came with a congratulatory message and urged the new trainees to make the most of this favorable period for study, training and self-affirmation to become good professionals. Diana Rotundu, the President of the Council of the National Institute of Justice, Sergiu Bursacovschi, President of the Admissions Commission, and Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Justice, also spoke at the ceremony.
Enrolled in the initial training course between October 2021 and April 2023, the 15 candidates for the position of judge and 20 candidates for the position of prosecutor got acquainted with the training program they will follow at the National Institute of Justice.
At the 2021 NIJ admission, the files were submitted online, with 134 applications registered. The conditions for participation in the competition met 127 competitors: 87 - candidates for the position of prosecutor and 40 - candidates for the position of judge. The competitors took the eliminatory psychological test (electronic), the specialized test (electronic) and the oral test. So far, the National Institute of Justice has offered to the justice system thirteen promotions of graduates out of which 281 candidates for the position of prosecutor and 197 - for the position of judge.
