On Thursday, 22 March 2023, the Ad interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ecaterina Popa, had an online meeting with the General Secretary of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), Ingrid Derveaux.
Among the topics addressed were the current state and how to strengthen the cooperation between the two entities in the judicial training segment. In this context, Ecaterina Popa expressed her gratitude for the opportunities offered by the EJTN to the beneficiaries of the National Institute of Justice to improve the knowledge and skills of professionals in the judicial system.
The parties discussed aspects regarding the organization of a joint activity on the subject of economic crimes for legal specialists from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. In the same vein, the interlocutors agreed on the usefulness of training sessions on the Kirckpatrick evaluation methodology to enhance the quality of training provided by the National Institute of Justice.
The meeting was also attended by Olga Marandici, Head of the International Relations Section, and Cezara-Elena Polisca, Head of the Didactic-Methodical and Training of Trainers Section, and Alina Secrieru, Advisor to the General Secretery of the EJTN.
