
On Monday, February 3, 2025, the National Institute of Justice was visited by a delegation of the European Public Law Organization, headed by the President of the Board of Directors EPLO – prof. Spyridon Flogaitis.
During the meeting with the Interim Director, Ecaterina Popa, discussions focused on opportunities to enhance the professional capacities of the Institute's beneficiaries, in the context of alignment with European standards and the country’s accession prospects to the European Union.
The discussions highlighted areas of common interest in the judicial training segment, outlining several possibilities for collaboration, such as organizing training events and activities, facilitating exchange of expertise, including through study visits and internships, developing the skills of national trainers in EU law. Additionally, the importance of digitalization and online training for NIJ beneficiaries was emphasized, along with the Kirkpatrick model as a tool for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
