The director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, was visited on Thursday, November 8, 2018, by the manager of the Council of Europe's Program "Promoting a human rights compliant criminal justice system in the Republic of Moldova", Oleg Soldatov.
The meeting was a good opportunity to reaffirm the opening of the National Institute of Justice for further bilateral collaboration on the continuous training of NIJ beneficiaries. In this regard, Diana Scobioala highlighted the results of the collaboration in the field of trainings so far that allow for deepening and enhancing cooperation also in the future.
At the same time, during the meeting, the NIJ Director emphasized the importance of agreeing joint activities that reflect both the continuity of the trainings, as well as to meet the needs of the judiciary and prosecution system.
From the National Institute of Justice, Valentina Contescu, the advisor of the Director, also attended the meeting.
