International Children's Day celebrates the most beautiful period of every person's life – the childhood. On this occasion, the trainees and the team of the National Institute of Justice proposed to help underprivileged families. Future judges and prosecutors collected money and prepared gifts for the little children who need a smile and moments of happiness.
With the support of the Social Assistance Department from Cimișlia District, three families from the villages of Grădiște, Sagaidac and Porumbrei were identified, and in the afternoon of 1 June, the trainees, accompanied by Iulia Gorbatenco, Head of the Initial Training Section, visited and made their day better.
"We were welcomed by mothers with tears in their eyes and nine wonderful, tender, sincere children with an unaltered soul who love unconditionally, in their small houses, but well-kept and clean that emanated love, warmth and kindness. It is the day when we become aware that the interest for the child must be a priority and all children need our support and attention", said Maria Delendrea, candidate for the position of judge.
The National Institute of Justice invites society to celebrate childhood and to help especially children in need, through charities and actions that promote respect for their rights.
