The NIJ-2023 Admission promotional campaign arrived on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the „Stefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where discussions took place with the students of the Faculty of Law about the educational offer of the National Institute of Justice.
Along with the host of the event, Dinu Ostavciuc, Rector of the „Stefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with greeting messages and encouragement for the future legal careers of young people, came Ecaterina Popa, Ad Interim Director of NIJ, and Nadejda Burciu, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice.
Students found out how future judges and prosecutors are selected and trained from the promotional materials and video, as well as from discussions with those who graduated from the „Stefan cel Mare" Academy and continued their professional career at the National Institute of Justice: Ghennadi Epure, prosecutor in the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, NIJ trainer, NIJ graduate, Ghenadie Pretivatii, NIJ trainee, candidate to the position of judge, Alina Dodon, NIJ trainee, candidate to the position of prosecutor, and Cristina Gnatiuc, NIJ trainee, candidate to the position of prosecutor.
Also, during the visit, a meeting took place between the representatives of the Academy „Stefan cel Mare” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the National Institute of Justice where opportunities for collaboration between institutions were discussed, including the training segment.
We note that in 2023, at the admission contest for NIJ initial training course are planned 30 places for candidates to the position of judge and 15 places for candidates to the position of prosecutor. File submission will take place between July 1-31, 2023, and in September will be held the admission exam, which consists of the written test taken electronically and the oral test. The written test, in turn, consists of an eliminatory psychological test and a specialized test. The ad, admission schedule, as well as other relevant information will be published on the NIJ website.
