In order to get acquainted with the educational model of functioning of the National Institute of Justice, on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the representatives of the Association of Law Students (ALS) from the State University of Moldova have visited the only training center for future judges and prosecutors in the country.
The students were welcomed by the NIJ Director, Diana Scobioala, who encouraged them to participate in the admission contest at the National Institute of Justice in the future.
During the event, Dumitru Obada, the Advisor of the NIJ Director, seconded prosecutor, Ecaterina Popa, the Head of the Training and Research Department, Boris Talpa, the Head of the Legal Information Centre, seconded judge, and Tatiana Ciaglic, the Head of the e-Training Section, have presented the activities and the initial and continuous training modalities within the Institute. Future lawyers have been informed about the NIJ admission procedure and the advantages of distance learning provided on the ILIAS platform or through the HELP program.
At the same time, the students found out about the successful implementation of the integrated quality management system and obtaining three certificates confirming that the training activities provided by the NIJ to its beneficiaries are in line with the requirements set out by international standards.
At the end, visitors took a guided tour through the newly renovated study rooms of the National Institute of Justice.
