The competition brought together students from the law faculties of higher education institutions in the country and aimed at developing and valorization of the intellectual potential of the future lawyers.
The competition was conducted in three stages: the preliminary stage consisting of the qualification and settlement of a proposed case with civil, criminal and procedural aspects, the semi-final stage - completing a claim form addressed to the European Court of Human Rights on the basis of an irrevocable national decision, and the final stage - simulation of a verbal judicial process.
The young people were appreciated by a jury which took into account the procedural and material knowledge, the correctness in the judicial process, ingeniousness, attitude and argumentation.
In the final stage, which took place on Friday, May 31, 2019, have competed three teams comprised of representatives of the State University of Moldova, of the University of European Political and Economic Studies "Constantin Stere" and of the Institute of International Relations of Moldova. The teams prepared either the defense position or the accusation, or played the role of judges in an improvised trial based on a case.
