Today, March 17, 2023, at the National Institute of Justice began the graduation exam for candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor, who followed the initial training course for 18 months.
15 candidates for the position of judge and 20 candidates to the position of prosecutor will sustain the written test and the oral test of the graduation exam. Between March 17-20, 2023, future graduates will draft procedural acts based on real cases, randomly selected by the informational system. Thus, the candidates to the position of judge will draw up a judgment in a civil case and a sentence in a criminal case, and the candidates for the position of prosecutor – an indictment and a discontinuance/ dismissal order of the criminal procedure.
The evaluation of the internship that the NIJ trainees completed in 30 weeks in the courts, prosecutor’s office and criminal investigation bodies is the second stage of the graduation exam. On April 4 and 6, 2023, future graduates will be evaluated by the graduation exam Committee for according to the criteria established in the Regulation of organization and conduct of the internship of the NIJ trainees applying for the position of judge and prosecutor.
Both, the written and the oral test will be recorded.
