The National Institute of Justice expresses solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are going through hard times caused by the dramatic events of recent days. At the same time, the NIJ team sends a message of support and compassion to its colleagues at the National School of Judges in Ukraine and the National Academy of the Prosecutor's Office in Ukraine in the hope that these difficult times will end as soon as possible and with few human tragedies.
As a sign of support, the National Institute of Justice joins the general mobilization to help thousands of people who have become refugees overnight. NIJ employees and audiences will donate a day's pay, or a day's paycheck, to provide humanitarian assistance to war-torn Ukrainian citizens.
