Today, May 25, 2021, at the National Institute of Justice, two e-courses were launched online to strengthen the linguistic skills of the beneficiaries of continuous training in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia - "Romanian Language" and "Legal English".
The e-learning courses will be provided on the platform of the National School of Clerks of Romania (SNG), an institution with which the National Institute of Justice has established a sustainable and effective partnership starting with March 4, 2015, when a Protocol of collaboration was signed between the two training centers. The results, challenges, as well as long-term plans for maintaining cooperation were addressed in the opening of the event by Diana Scobioala, NIJ Director, and Andrei-Dorin Bancila, SNG Director.
The courses are aimed at developing the theoretical and practical knowledge of legal professionals to ensure the correct knowledge and use of the languages used in courts and prosecutors’ offices, as well as in national and international specialized training.
We mention that, since the beginning of this year, a total of 413 beneficiaries of NIJ have been registered for the SNG e-courses, among which there are 5 judges and 20 prosecutors working in UTA Gagauzia.
