On Monday, May 31, 2021, Diana Scobioala, Director of the National Institute of Justice, met with experts from the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation - Hartmut Rank, Director of the Rule of Law Program Southeast Europe, and Stanislav Splavnic, project coordinator. The meeting was also attended by Valentina Contescu, the head of the Institutional Management Department, and Ecaterina Popa, the head of the Training and Research Department.
During the discussions, Diana Scobioala introduced the guests to the particularities of the activity of the National Institute of Justice and guided them through the study rooms designed to increase the quality of the professional training program for future judges and prosecutors.
During the visit, the experts submitted the printed version of the Guide to the overview of the relevant case law of the European Court of Human Rights "Covid-19 and the impact on human rights", which was launched online simultaneously in three magistracy schools - the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, the National Institute of Magistracy of Romania and the Academy of Justice of Armenia. The publication, as a useful resource in resolving the complex legal issues that arose during the pandemic, will be disseminated to representatives of the justice sector.
