Today, October 16, 2020, the National Institute of Justice has started a new initial training course for candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor. Among the 35 trainees that have successfully passed the admission exams, 20 will study in order to run for the position of prosecutor, and 15 - for the position of judge.
The event, moderated by Diana Scobioala, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, was attended by Alexandru Stoianoglo, the General Prosecutor, Tamara Chisca-Doneva, the President of the Civil and Administrative Litigation College of the Supreme Court of Justice, Radu Foltea, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice, and Diana Rotundu, the President of the Council of the National Institute of Justice. The experts came with messages of encouragement and guidance to the young trainees.
Also today, the candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor who will study the initial training course between October 2020 and April 2022, got acquainted with the training program at the National Institute of Justice.
We specify that so far, the National Institute of Justice has offered to the justice system twelve promotions of graduates, out of which 261 candidates to the position of prosecutor and 177 - to the position of judge. This year's admission contest was attended by 141 competitors: 54 people participated in order to be admitted as future judges, and 87 – as future prosecutors. In the current admission session, the competitors took the eliminatory psychological test (electronic), the specialty test (electronic) and the oral test.
