An exchange of experience between the trainees of the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and the justice auditors of the National Institute of Magistracy of Romania took place on November 11-15, 2019.
The NIJ trainees, Lilia Harabara and Ana Bagrinovschi, candidates to the position of judge, and Maria Sirbu and Tatiana Toaca, candidates to the position of prosecutor, - went on a study visit to the National Institute of Magistracy, in Bucharest, Romania.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the organizational structure of the Romanian magistracy school and with the initial training activities, to participate to training sessions for both justice auditors and other professionals in the law system, to attend public hearings, etc.
During the visit, the topics of discussions with the Romanian auditors and trainers focused in particular on the admission method, the training process and the graduation exams conducted in the two judicial training institutions.
The study visit is part of a series of actions undertaken jointly by the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and the National Institute of Magistracy of Romania based on the Collaboration Agreement signed in March 2014.
