For the first time, a webinar for Azerbaijani judges dedicated to the implementation of CEPEJ instruments in court administration in the Republic of Moldova

On Friday, November 8, 2019, the first webinar on the experience of the Republic of Moldova in optimizing the management of judicial time and of the act of justice, as a public service, by applying the tools of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) was held.

During the webinar, aimed at a group of judges and representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke Ecaterina Popa, the head of the Training and Research Department, National Institute of Justice, Victoria Palanciuc, the head of the Law and Judicial Practice Section, the Court Administration Agency, representative of the Republic of Moldova at CEPEJ, Mariana Stratan, judge, Ungheni District Court, Valentina Diacenco, head of secretariat, Comrat Court of Appeal, and Tatiana Ciaglic, head of the e-Training and Analyzing Section of the Centre for Legal Information, National Institute of Justice.

The event aimed to bring more information to the exponents of the law system of Azerbaijan about the experience of the Republic of Moldova in implementing the CEPEJ instruments in court administration, actions to improve the efficiency and quality of national justice, access to justice and the interaction of Moldovan courts with the litigants, use of information technologies in the court process, etc.

The webinar was organized, for the first time by the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and the Justice Academy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, being an action based on the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of training, signed by the leaders of the respective institutions: Diana Scobioala and Elchin Khalafov.
