Today, July 10, 2019, within the National Institute of Justice, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova, His Excellency Daniel Ionita, held a public lesson for the NIJ trainees, candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor.
At the opening of the event, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, expressed the conviction that the perspectives presented will be a valuable contribution to the aspirations of accession in the European Union of our state.
The lecture focused on Romania's experience as the holder of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for a six-month period, underlining the faced challenges and progress made that will keep a living memory of achievements and will set standards for the future. At the same time, His Excellency encouraged the European path of the Republic of Moldova stressing the need to promote a system of justice in the spirit of community values, the rule of law and democracy.
