The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, is attending the first edition of the International Academy of Rectors and Prorectors "Improving the efficiency of the university educational system and of the scientific research in the context of the interaction of the national education systems in the CIS countries".
The event is taking place on August 23-27, 2019, in Vadul lui Voda, and is gathering together representatives of several higher education institutions, both from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and from the European space.
The Summer Academy was opened by Gheorghe Avornic, Rector of the University of Political and Economic Studies "Constantin Stere", Adrian Lebedinschi, President of the Parliamentary Committee for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass-media, Corneliu Popovici, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Moldova on cultural, educational and scientific issues, Andrei Chiciuc, President of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research, and by Grigore Belostecinic, Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies, President of the Council of Rectors of Moldova.
In her speech, the Director of the National Institute of Justice has presented the institution that she leads, focusing on the training activities offered by the only judicial training center in the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, Diana Scobioala, expressed the constant interest of the NIJ to know about the university programs of the law faculties, in order to avoid duplicating them during the initial training of the future judges and prosecutors.
At the Summer Academy are expected round tables and workshops on the current trends in the higher education of the Republic of Moldova and CIS countries, the efficient reforms of the university education system, the innovative strategic directions for development and research in 2019-2025, the modern teaching strategies, the mentoring and coaching etc.
The first edition of the International Academy of Rectors and Prorectors is organized by the University of Political and Economic Studies "Constantin Stere", the Council of Rectors of the Republic of Moldova and the American University of Moldova.
