Today, September 18, 2018, Diana Scobioala, the Director of the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, had a meeting with Cristina Rotaru-Radu, the Director of the National Institute of Magistracy in Romania. The agenda included an exchange of views on the issues of cooperation between the institutions they are leading in order to increase the quality standards of training and the promotion of quality training of judges and prosecutors on both sides of the Prut.
Also, during the meeting, were discussed the main bilateral projects that are in different stages of realization and the impact that they will generate on pluralist training and acquiring new knowledge in the fields of interest for the professional career of the NIJ and NIM beneficiaries. These include the joint launch of an electronic course in the field of child-friendly justice, which will take place on the Council of Europe's HELP Distance Training Platform, and the publication in Romania of a collection of papers that were presented this summer by NIJ and NIM trainees at the Centenary of the Great Union contest.
At the same time, the Director of the National Institute of Justice thanked the Director of the National Institute of Magistracy for maintaining a dynamic cooperation on various dimensions, materialized, among other things, through the participation of Cristina Rotaru-Radu as a member of the Admission Examination Commission for the selection of future trainees of the National Institute of Justice.
