During the period August 6-9 2018, a group of judges attended the summer school entitled “International Standards in the Field of Asylum and Statelessness”.
The event aimed to familiarize the participants with the inclusion clauses on refugee status, the evidence in the asylum procedure, the interviewing techniques of the asylum seekers, as well as the procedure for determining the status of stateless persons, the causes of statelessness and the prevention of this phenomenon in the Republic of Moldova.
The two training sessions - International standards on asylum and International standards in the field of statelessness - were provided by representatives of the National Institute of Justice, the UNHCR, the “Law Centre of Advocates” and the Bureau for Migration and Asylum within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
