During the period of 5– 9 July 2018, the National Institute of Justice candidates to the position of judge conducted a study visit to Penitentiary no. 10 - Goian, where the juvenile prisoners are detained and to Prison no. 9 - Pruncul, a prison for detention of the major male convicts.
The aim of the visit is to acquaint the candidates to the position of judge with the conditions of detention, professional activities in which prisoners can be trained and the possibility of obtaining a job, procedures for granting psychiatric and psychological assistance to juvenile detainees, the process of re-education and re-socialization during detention, etc.
Early on, between 26th -27th, June 2018, the candidates to the position of prosecutor of the National Institute of Justice visited Penitentiary no. 10-Goian and Penitentiary no. 9 - Pruncul.
Study visits are scheduled during the initial training course, “Execution of court decisions in criminal matters”, which is lectured by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Anatolie Munteanu, and included in the extra-curricular activities plan of candidates for the position of judge and prosecutors for 2017-2018.
