Cooperation aspects with the National Institute of Justice in the frame of the Council of Europe supported projects were discussed on Wednesday, April 25, at the meeting of the head of the Training and research division, Alexandra Nica, with the Council of Europe representative - Tigran Karapetyan, Head of Unit, Eastern Partnership, Human Rights National Implementation Division, Milica Djunic, project coordinator acting within the same department, and Diana Cealic, Senior Project Officer, Council of Europe Office in Chisinau.
The discussions were focused on the development of the inter-institutional collaboration, given the mutual interest for strengthening specific aspects: mixed trainings of different categories of beneficiaries in the field of non-discrimination and combating hate crimes; distance learning courses through the HELP platform; the possibility of organizing study-visits and internships abroad for the NIJ trainees etc. Another subject discussed in the frame of this meeting concerned the strengthening of the cooperation between the judicial training institutions of the Eastern Partnership states.
From the part of the National Institute of Justice, the meeting was also attended by Ecaterina Popa, the head of the Continuous training section, and Dumitru Obada, the head of the Didactical-methodical and training of trainers section.
