In the period February 27 to March 3, 2018, the representatives of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Armenia undertook a working visit to Chisinau. The delegation was formed by Sergey Arakelyan, the rector of the Academy of Justice, Robert Shahinyan and Artashes Khurshudyan.
The visit is part of the actions established within the cooperation Agreement that was signed between the National Institute of Justice and the Academy of Justice of Armenia at the beginning of this year. Deepening the partnership relations in the field of training the professionals that contribute to the realization of justice and facilitating the exchange of the good practices between the two institutions constituted the main objectives of this visit.
The subjects that were discussed within the meetings with the representatives of the Academy of Justice concerned the institutional management, the realizations and the challenges encountered by the National Institute of Justice in the process of training the legal professionals. In this context, Diana Scobioala has spoken about the optimization of the admission procedure and about the way future judges and prosecutors are trained within the NIJ, also about the reconceptualization of the continuous training plans for the NIJ beneficiaries and boosting the scientific research within NIJ, the adjustment of the NIJ infrastructure in order to increase its accessibility for persons with disabilities.
We remind that in January 2018 the representatives of the National Institute of Justice have visited the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Armenia with the aim of establishing long-term bilateral relations for the increase of the judicial training process efficiency.
