The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, has hosted today, February 2, a delegation constituted of romanian magistrates, undertaking a study-visit in Chisinau.
The group of magistrates was composed by Cristina Trutescu, the President of the Court of Appeal Iasi, Lorena Tarlion, the President of the Tribunal Iasi, Narcis-Violin Stoica, the Deputy President of the Tribunal Iasi and Maria Stefania Lorena Curca, President of the Court Iasi.
In the frame of the visit, the discussions were focused on actual matters of interest, especially regarding the organization and functioning of the National Institute of Justice. The Romanian delegation was interested particularly in the aspects related to the means and methods of providing trainings within the NIJ, the standards and the priorities of the professional development, including professional training of judges, but also the changes that take place within the Institute in order to increase the efficiency of the professional training of the NIJ’s beneficiaries.
During the discussions, Diana Scobioala expressed her gratitude to the Romanian part for the offered support, especially to the National Institute of Magistracy and to the National School of Clerks from Romania, but also her willingness to maintain good further collaboration relations.
