The National Institute of Justice is among the beneficiaries of a new Project implemented by the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) - "Promoting Integrity and Transparency for a Modern Justice Sector". The launch event, which took place on Friday, November 15, 2024, was attended by the Head of the e-Learning Section of NIJ, Tatiana Bruma.
The project will support the National Institute of Justice to optimize its processes in certain segments. Thus, it is planned to diversify and modernize the training activities by introducing e-capsule modules - short sessions focused on critical topics, providing practical solutions and quick access to legal information. A computerized psychological evaluation platform will also be developed to improve selection and training mechanisms within the National Institute of Justice. Other planned actions aim to develop a study on the mental health of judges, including their integrity, and to organize trainings or workshops with foreign experts to contribute to the creation of an appropriate and resilient professional environment for magistrates.
The project "Promoting Integrity and Transparency for a Modern Justice Sector" aims to reduce corruption, increase transparency in all judicial processes and strengthen civic engagement with justice sector institutions in the Republic of Moldova and will last until December 2027.
