27. 09. 2024

On the afternoon of Thursday, September 26, 2024, a working meeting was held at the National Institute of Justice, attended by Adrian Cerbu, Ad interim Director, Ecaterina Popa, Head of the Training and Research Department, and Ion Popa, vice president of the Council of Authorized Administrators Union of Moldova. The dialogue focused on identifying solutions for providing initial training to authorized administrators in probation.

According to current legal provisions, initial training for admission to the administrator profession is conducted at the National Institute of Justice or at higher educational institutions in the fields of law or economic sciences, based on a program approved by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. In this context, at the meeting was discussed the possibility of implementing actions that effectively address the initial training needs of authorized administrators. According to the Law on the National Institute of Justice, training courses for initial or continuing education of other individuals working in the justice sector are organized on a contractual basis, upon request or at the initiative of the Institute.

Both parties expressed their interest in continuing collaboration to develop optimal educational solutions for future authorized administrators and to establish concrete steps for implementing the initial theoretical training program for admission to the profession of authorized administrator.
